My name is James Covello. I have always straddled the technical and the creative, and have degrees in both Engineering and in English. I bought my first camera (a Nikon FM2) in 1983 in high school and have been photographing ever since. I will photograph almost anything, but my primary subjects are landscapes, travel, and wildlife. I enjoy hikes and road trips, and enjoy the challenge of coming away with special photographs from wherever I explore. I have only recently begun to travel overseas, but have been to every state in the US except Michigan. I enjoy board games and reading fantasy, mysteries, and classic literature.
